About the C.P. Direct Receivership

In the late 1990's, Michael Consoli and Vincent Passafiume (among others) teamed up to open C.P. Direct -a "nutritionals" distribution company. Thier main product? Longitude. According to C.P. Direct, taking Longitude regularly would increase the length and girth of the penis.

The principals of the company (mentioned above) appear to have been quite adept at marketing, because even though there was no scientific basis to the Longitude product it did account for the largest portion of C.P. Direct's 70 million dollars in sales during the company's operation.

The company marketed Longitude, and other bogus herbal supplements with wild claims, in dozens of mainstream publications across the U.S. and were it not for an abnormally high number of credit card "chargebacks" -the company might have gone on selling thier products for a long time.

In 2002, C.P. Direct was shut down by the State of Arizona and placed into "receivership" with Lawrence J. Warfield appointed as Receiver. Since that time Receiver Warfield has liquidated fancy sports cars and luxury mansions (among other things) in his attempt to recover funds to return to victims of this fraud.

Now, in 2006, Receiver Warfield is refunding over 4 million dollars to victims who purchased C.P. Direct products.
